Twenty-Ten

I just happened to see this on one of my good friend’s blogs and I liked the idea I would like to try it.

Oh Twenty-Ten what can I say to you. You have brought me good times and brought me hard times.

January

I celebrated the New Year in California. I got to go out there for my birthday; I got a new IPod and got to see my favorite NFL team the Chargers play. (Something my dad can’t say he has done.) I came home and celebrated my birthday at the Tav dancing on the piano. I also made a completely random trip to Vegas with my best friends Jenn, Sara, and Sam. Great very, fun, real life, interesting trip. I had received some news that would change my life forever.

February

I was still out of a job. I did get to go visit my students every once in a while when they needed a substitute. It was my anniversary of meeting one of my best friends Jenn. It’s kind of crazy we met and Hoe Bot Robot Party. I love Jenn! I was still struggling living my new life.

March

This month just blew me through the roof. I made the wrong decision and forgot to use my blinker. I got pulled over and yes I got a ticket. Stupid tickets they just make me angry. I also made my way to Park City, and my friend unfortunately got too drunk to drive but I had to be home, problem was one she lost her phone, two her car had to defrost, her car had no window wipers, and the biggest was it was a blizzard, worst drive of my life.

It was my friends Justine’s 21st birthday; we went and spent it in Boise Idaho with some old friends and her boyfriend. It was one of the greatest trips. Except for the part where it blizzard and we walked home through the blizzard.

A big group of us went to the festival of colors. It was a blast! I will def be goign back this year.

April

My dad turned 51. He is officially and forever my favoritest person on this planet. Sorry everyone else but he is just my hero. My friend Justine found two baby (less than 2 weeks old) kittens and I asked to bring them home. I went and picked them up with my brother and we went and bought them food from Wal-Mart. I stayed up all night with them making sure they stayed warm feeding them, helping them go to the bathroom. We planned on getting them healthy and older then we were going to give them away, but we never did. I named them Jordyn and Bailey.

On April 19th one of my best friends disappeared. She ran away from home. She hadn’t made the best decisions and had a lot on her plate. She didn’t speak a word to anyone except asking for money. She just disappeared L

May

It was my mothers and brothers birthday. Every year my mom’s side of the family goes down to St. George over Memorial weekend, my mother went and the rest of us stayed home. I got a job I started on May 10th. It was at Convergys’s doing the U.S. 2010 census. It was a terrible job. They were extremely strict on everything, it was a terrible job. Someone made me cry over the phone, I then started to look for another job.

June

I found a new job! I had never even heard about this place until I came in for the interview. Sara had to actually talk me into coming in to the building. I got the second interview the same day I had court. I had my interview then had to run to court. That went pretty well. The day after I got the call and they offered me the job. I went into my Convergys’s job that Saturday and took a couple calls, after that I just logged off and walked out. I started as a receptionist on June 14th at Overstock.com.

July

For the 4th of July I went on a trip with Andrea and her boyfriend to Idaho Falls. We saw the most spectacular fireworks and had a great time with her boyfriend’s family. We also took a trip to the Idaho Falls Zoo.

August

A dear friend to all died this month. I didn’t have the best of friendship with him but he was just one of those people he always made you feel welcomed. He was one of the nicest and smartest people you could ever meet. I made another trip to Vegas, this time I got my best friend back. Lizzy had been in a relationship with this terrible guy who wouldn’t allow her to see me. It had been a whole year. I got her to commit to Vegas and we went. We got an awesome suite and had a great time. Justine and Ty got “married”. Kristi was turned into me J

October

Made another trip to Boise. This time Justine and I brought Jenn. We had an amazing time even though McGill ran through the house for 3 hours screaming drink your beer. Did I mention it was like 3 in the morning when this started.

Lizzy and I threw a Halloween party on the 23rd, things got a little out of hand at the end but I kicked it up a notch and broke up a fight and got a cell phone back. We celebrated Halloween at Ty Brown’s our friends from Boise came down to party with us.

November

Thanksgiving is always an interesting time. We used to go up to Idaho Falls every year but now with the economy we stay here and go to my mom’s side. Everyone on that side is quite religious and my family not so much it gets a little bit awkward.
On November 6 we played TCU what a terrible game!

On November 28, it was the big UTAH VS BYU GAME 17-16!

Still living day to day. Realizing it’s something I will have to live with for the rest of my life. I am still having a hard time adjusting to it, but I am doing my best.

I have the bestest friends in the entire world. I can call them and text them and I will just went and they listen they are so good to me and they give me encouraging words.

I can’t wait to see what happens this next year. I hope to be thinner, more confident, and just feel better about myself and not be so stressed all the time.

I do want to say thank you to all the people who walked into my life and made it outstanding and all the people who walked out of my life and made it fantastic!
